Fields of color on the rolling hills of Biei
Shikisai no Oka (Four Seasons Hill) is a flower garden on a hill carpeted with flowers from April to October. This feast for the eye features tulips, lupine, lavender, salvia, sunflowers, dahlia and Japanese anemone.

How to Get There
Shikisai no Oka is accessible by train and then on foot or by taxi.
Catch the JR Furano Line to Bibaushi Station. It is a 25-minute walk there. You can also take the JR Furano Line to Biei Station and catch a 12-minute taxi ride from there.

Activities in the garden
You can ride around the garden on a tractor bus called Shikisai Norokko and visit an alpaca ranch. During the snow season (December to early April), renting a snowmobile is also popular. Try the snow raft (an inflatable raft for four people) course around the hill as well.
Enjoy Hokkaido's local fare
You can find shops, a restaurant, and produce stands selling local Hokkaido food as well as products from Shikisai no Oka's farm.
