After arriving at Oki Airport in the morning, take a car to the Oki Islands Geopark Museum to learn about the natural history of the four Oki Islands and their unique ecosystem. From there, make your way to Tamawakasu-mikoto Shrine. This is the main shrine of the Oki Islands and is designated a National Important Cultural Property. Take the time to explore the shrine and see the Yao-sugi Japanese Cedar, one of the largest cedars on the Oki Islands, believed to be more than 2,000 years old.

After lunch, go to the Marine Sports Center for a sea kayak cave tour. This guided tour provides a close-up experience of the dramatic coastline of the Oki Islands, which was formed by volcanic activity. Explore the area's fascinating geological formations guided by an expert who will lead you through expansive caverns and point out intriguing features.

In the evening, take a cruise to witness the sunset over Rosokujima, a peculiarly-shaped rock formation that resembles a lit candle when viewed from the waters at sundown. Once the cruise is over, make your way to your accommodation on Okinoshima Island for the night.

Begin your day by boarding a ferry to Nishinoshima Island, where a day of exploration awaits. The mountainous island is perhaps best explored on an electric mountain bike. At the base of the mountain is the Takuhi Gama Ceramic Art Studio, where you can try your hand at crafting ceramic pieces or dyeing cloth using the Oki soil. All the raw materials used are sourced from Mount Takuhi and the surrounding area, including the red and yellow clay and the plants used for glazes and dyes. The vibrant colors of the finished products reflect the natural environment of the Oki Islands.

Take a ferry to Nakanoshima Island for a unique eco-tour, in which you hike through jungles while carrying an inflatable kayak before venturing into the waters to explore sea caves.
