Connect with nature around the Sanuki Plain and Seto Inland Sea
The Goshikidai Visitor Center overlooks the Sanuki Plain and Bisan-Seto Archipelago in the Seto Inland Sea. It was established to educate visitors on the natural environment of the Goshikidai area and offers various programs that allow visitors to interact with nature through hands-on experiences.
Exhibits and photo displays at the Goshikidai Visitor Center introduce the plants and animals of the area and change depending on the season. Learn about Setonokai National Park through the visitor center's guided walks, insect and bird watching sessions, and local food and culture workshops. The center hosts regular craft workshops to make your own chopsticks, butter knives and other objects.
Enjoy the center's collection of old-fashioned toys, such as bamboo stilts and kendama, a traditional Japanese wooden cup-and-ball toy.
