The Amihari Visitor Center was fully refurbished in late 2020 and is a comfortable space where visitors can relax and learn about the area's natural environment. A large-scale model on display at the center shows how Mount Iwate formed into its current shape after thousands of years of volcanic activity. The visitor center has a relaxing atmosphere where you can take a break.
