Tent Sauna Experience at Hisetsu Falls

Parks Overview Parks Overview

Refresh your mind and body near a majestic waterfall

Experience the rejuvenating power of Finnish and Russian-style tent saunas beside Hisetsu Falls, a beautiful 30-meter waterfall in Mie Prefecture. Each tent can accommodate up to six people, and the sauna is activated by pouring water over rocks set atop a wood-burning stove. Local guides will instruct you in how to enjoy the facilities, after which you can roam freely between the tent sauna and the waters of Hisetsu Falls. This one-of-a-kind experience is available year-round for two hours at a time.
