Paper Museum 紙の博物館
A museum for everyone who loves paper and knows its magic
When the Paper Museum first opened in Oji, Tokyo 
in 1950, it was built on the same ground where one of Japan's first manufacturers of Western-style paper stood. Later moved to Asukayama Park, the museum continues to celebrate the history, charm and versatility of paper.

How to Get There
You can reach the museum by train and a short walk.
The Paper Museum is a five-minute walk from Oji Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line and Tokyo Metro Namboku Line.
Explore the museum
The museum has four stories. The first floor has a library and a monument corner. The second floor has a gallery that teaches guests about paper and the paper industry while the third floor has a rich collection with exhibits about washi (Japanese paper), and also a video corner. Special exhibits are also held on the fourth floor.
